(no subject)
so this summer's been alright so far...
came home, lounged for 4 days, started work... work's not too bad, summer time business is easy. i did one catering thing where i was only there for an hour and got $85. i've got another this saturday which is supposed to be pretty easy too, it's only 25 people an most of the stuff isn't hot. rockin.
went to philadelphia for 4 days for sarah's graduation, it was... interesting. travelling w/ family always is. ugh... but graduation was cool. jodie foster rapped eminem lyrics and it made my week. also, the dean of the nursing school wore these amazing fuschia pumps w/ matching tights. amazing. also, aunt sally and i took a day for ourselves and went to see the liberty bell and independence halls, and wander about cemetaries and quaker meeting places, and then we went to betsy ross's house and she taught me how to knit. dad says i've got a knitting monkey on my back, but i think it's a healthy obsession. i gave aaron the first thing i knitted, and it wasn't really much of anything, its all uneven and crazy, but i mde it and i was proud, so i gave it to him an he was like "its so cool... um... what is it?" haha... i was like "i knitted it! i don't know, but i knitted it!" haha, i was so excited about it!
so i knitted a little scarf for my car, and now i'm making myself one, lol. i don't know what else to make, but i better think of something soon!
kristin and i got memberships at seminole rec and we've been going to the gym hardcore. speaking of which, my arms are super sore today :( booo.
kristin and sarah and i chilled last night. we went to starbucks till it closed, an then to that park on the beach. super fun. till a cop came and we left. booooo. oh well.
well i hafta go get ready for work.. lame. i thought i had more to update on, but i guess my life is just as boring as i thought!
