Again and again
The LJ went away again after the last update. Firefox seems to do them about every 2 weeks and it takes a week or more for me to get it turned round right again. I just have to face it--I'm going to have to learn to fix it myself. Big sigh.
So, Harry and the Potters announced that they will be doing their entire summer tour with Draco and the Malfoys (Don't these boys have, like, JOBS?) and posted on the Potters website the tour schedule so far. So check it out if you want to give them a try and they happen to be coming to a library near *you*. Click on Joe's eyes! Or Paul's.

They are playing Lumos in July, too. My question of the day is, what are they going to do about the Malfoys lyrics? Harry and the Potters are more or less family friendly. I think their theory is it's rock music, They only occasionally go over the G rating, and who listens to/understands the lyrics they only hear once? Only folks old enough have bought the CD will catch the bits. So most of their (tiny bit of) mature content goes under the wire. But Draco and the Malfoys have more teen/adult, in your face lyrics. On the lines of, "don't want Weasley to eat his own turds, don't want Pansy Parkingson to let me get to third." Which are not kid friendly. So the Malfoys are touring the libraries and the summer reading programs with the Potters, and my big question is, will they change the words to all their songs, or come up with an entirely new set of songs (that would be so cool!)? And will the two groups sing some stuff together? Which would be, I suspect, a fairly decent combination.

Okay, enough of the weird obsession. On to the next weird obsession.
Here is the never-going-to-write-that plot idea for May. (Have I mentioned this one yet? It's been sitting there in the brain since before Halloween. Forgive me if I blathered on about it before.) This one has Draco and Ron each independantly learning the animagus change. Ron becomes a weasel and Draco a ferret. They meet in their animal forms and end up playing together, running wild in the Forbidden Forest. Innocent! Free! Cute! Gambol, Gambol! Then, one of them gets in trouble, say from a giant spider, the other one rescues him, and they end up firm comrades. And learn all about the forest which might be a plot point. Eventually, of course, they get sexually involved and go at it like minks. Eventually, also of course, they have to discover who each other is, and make decisions about the future. Romance! Angst! Anybody want to write that up for me?
