I had to run a few errands this morning and decided to drop by my favorite sari shop afterwards. I got a little confused on how to get there as David usually drives and I was relying on memory... always a bad thing! :D But a very nice cab driver showed me where I made a wrong turn and I was back in business.
I need fabric for a regency day gown and I was hoping to find a pretty cotton printed fabric. The last time I was there they had a bunch of block printed saris which would have been perfect. Unfortunately, they were sold out of those, but I found a sheer cotton sari with a simple yet pretty embroidery. It wasn't what I was looking for, but will be perfect nonetheless. Doesn't that always happen? You can't find what you think you want and then end up with something that works even better. :)
