Oooh, how I love a holiday! Especially one with pretty dresses!
Last night, David and I finally decided on dates for our trip to Paris in a few weeks. It will only be a long weekend, but during said weekend we will be visiting the Court Dress exhibition at Versailles (YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!) and will have an entire day for the Lourvre! (And maybe half of the next day too)
Now we need to figure out when we are going to go back to Bruges. We really want to see the Charles the Bold exhibition. When we were there, the museum was closed and still setting up for it. It is there until July so we have time. We will probably daytrip this too.
It boggles my mind that I can daytrip to Belgium! When I was in the states, I just didn't have the sense of scale. I mean we went all the way to Luxembourg and only used about 3/4 of a tank of gas! I guess it is the same for Europeans though. They don't understand the scale of the US until they go there.
And yes, I DO realize that I haven't posted my pictures from that trip yet. I can't find the bleeping cord which connects my camera to my computer to download the pictures! I may have to break down and order another but you know that the moment I do, I will find that darn cord.
