Bracelet Project part 1

I've started a little project that has been on my "want to do" list for a while. It was listed in one of my beading magazines and drew my attention right away. While I am waiting for supplies to be delivered for my Victorian clothing, I decided to give it a go. The images in the magazine look like this:

I couldn't capture it without having any glare unfortunately. I also took closeups of the two bracelets:

I've decided that I want to use blue in my victorian gown and thought maybe I would wear the bracelet with it so I chose blues for the bracelet. Here are the colors I am using:

The top 3 are fire polished czech beads 6m, 4mm and 3mm. The bottom two are seed beads though the lighter one's color isn't quite right in the photo. It looks purple, but it isn't. I've made a decent start on it, but there is a lot of embellishment to do once the base design is done (even though I am not doing the teardrop dangles). Here is what I have so far:

I can't wait to see how the finished product will look. It looks very complicated but is pretty easy once you get the rhythm of it. I changed the magazine's design slightly because I was having trouble getting each little diamond to stay tight together. I had to start over, but now it goes much quicker because I don't have to fuss with it as much.
