Just get me through the next year!!
Found out this week that the tuition I am paying out of pocket just doubled. *sigh* It is now the same as the rent paid by a couple of my schoolmates. David and I are reworking the household budget to accommodate for it. We can manage, but it is definitely going to effect things. Just another reason to continue my mantra: Just one more year... just need to make it through one more year.
My class is going well. I got a 96 on the first exam. The second exam is this Wednesday which is also my birthday. I also have my head to toe assessment skills exam that day. Happy freaking birthday to me! LOL Clinicals is an interesting situation. We are in a medicare nursing home so some of it is pretty bad. But it has turned out to be a very rewarding experience and I'll miss a lot of the residents when we leave at the end of the term.
Oh and, by the way, nothing like a 12 hour shift in a nursing home to remind one that they are getting old! LOL By the end of the day, I can barely make it home. All I can do is take a shower and collapse on the couch. I don't even care what we eat as long as I don't have to cook it!
