blood blood and more blood
today was the NHS blood drive. it was actually really fun. my official position was "hand holder." i felt a little awkward as i was chatting about stupid crap such as the weather with the student body. i got used to it quickly and it was super fun. i was only supposed to stay for second block but i ended up staying for 3,4, and 5. so good.
oh and my poor kitten got fixed today. my mom picked him up from the vet and then to my surprise when we picked him up his balls (or lack there of) were squirting blood!! heather and i were quickly jammed into the car and back to the vet. the poor cat was all doped up and growling when the vet examined his "area." to make a long story short, his blood clotted and he's A OK.
that's enough blood for one day.
