emotionally invested

I had a little girl for those who follow. it's been a while since i've posted anything. her name is helena rose, she was born april 15th, 7lbs 4 oz, 19 1/4 inches. she is damn cute. i wasn't sure how i would react. alot of questions and worries (i'm a bit over-analytical) all which were laid to rest the minute i held her. she looks like a gerber baby but with serious eyes rather than smiling ones. i will post pictures soon. i sure do like comming home to her.

i am currently taking an advanced physics lab this summer. so far a very interesting course. two years at rutgers completed and i am able to maintain my 4.0 gpa. i had an peculiar proposal offered to me recently. a professor whom i've never taken a course with sat me down and asked if i would like to do research for him. he is a comp sci professor (which is a lot of math based research.) there is a catch ...there always is a catch. i would have to put off my degree in physics for a year and concentrate on his courses. in return he wants to pay me to do research next year and work toward getting me into m.i.t. (this is all depending on how well i do in his courses.) it's a pay cut, and i would be asking my family to sacrifice for some years, so i am a bit torn. what do you think?

the ol' band and i have been talking recently. the guitarist had a spiritual awakening, and decided to contact me. he's gotten a little weird, but he's always been a good person, just think he needs to find himself. his contact sparked contact through all the old band members, so i have to thank him for that. thank you jeff.
