where physics and metaphysics meet

so as most know i am a body piercer. last year i decided to return to college and get a physics degree. a rather interesting thing happened the other day where physics and body piercing collide. i pierced an individual who passed out about a minute after i was finished. now this is where things get interesting.
part 1. the story
so as the man passed out his muscles clenched tight, which isn't the unusual part. then about a second before comming to, he threw his arms up violently as if he was at some southern revival baptist ministry. as he was comming to, he kept repeating that he fell off the world trade center. for most who don't know, when people pass out as they are comming to, they are initially in a somewhat dream state, dazed and confused. so as i was getting some orange juice in him, his friend and i were telling him what happened and how weird it was. when he heard that he said he had fallen off the world trade center, he responded that it was weird because he was there when they fell.
part 2. the physics
i know that the mind can be somewhat of a calculator. sometimes i go to bed when i'm stuck on a problem and then at some point in the middle of the night i wake up with the answer. ...on to the story. as this guy was texting a friend on his sidekick, i asked him if he had the internet on the phone. after stating yes, i asked him to see how tall the world trade center is. he did so. as he was doing this i asked his friend how long do you think he was out for? the friend replied about 20 seconds or so. now you can figure out a free fall from the world trade center by using a kinematic equation y -yo = 1/2 gt^2 when you do this you can figure out the time by rearranging it using algebra. the answer comes to be just under 16 seconds. ...close to 20 seconds you say. now because he is falling in air, there is a drag force acting against him, slowing down acceleration. this inturn makes the time to be extremely close to 20 seconds.
part 3. the mind
it could be some random coincidence that these numbers are so close. however, it is my belief that his mind new how tall the world trade center was from using spacial relationship. since the acceleration due to gravity ( g ) is apparent to all of us, because we can stand, jump and all other things which would be hard if we were floating. it maybe possible that his mind could actually calculate the exact time it would take him to fall from the world trade center. since he was passed out, his subconscience would do all of the calculations, something which is known to happen.

i just thought this was interesting. i know i might be reaching for something, stretching my imagination. either way, it was neat.
