If you know me outside of LJ, you know I've been going through the graduate school application madness. It has been a serious labor of love since August-September, during which I've had to cram for GRE Math tests, write my life's goals in less than two pages, hound old professors for unique letters of recommendation, travel to distant place to see if I fit, and finally, wait and hope someone would like me enough to give me money (I wasn't willing to go hundreds of thousands of dollars into debt for this)
Luckily, I recieved two terrific offers from my two top choices, and then got to wrestle with the arduous task of choosing the school that was right for me (I'm pretty sure this step has left me with permanent damage to my stomach...the location where all my stress gathers and attacks me from the inside)
Anyways, next fall I will attend University of Wisconsin-Madison to pursue my MA/PhD in Theatre Research with a concentration in Theatre for Youth. It'll be the farthest away I've ever lived, but I'm ready. Luckily, Greg's willing to embark on this adventure with me, and my new Drama department is full of brilliant, interesting people.
It is wild that this finally over and decided.
