FINITO
i'm done. my journey is over.
i finished the last of breaking dawn at around 3 this morning while meghan was just snoooooozin' in my bed.
good news: i finished it before her, HA!
bad news: my life is a lonely, black pit once again
something like this is such a bittersweet feeling. like, you're just dying to know what happens next, so you push through the exhaustion and keep your lids open a liiiitle longer until you get to that next chapter. at the same time though, you're becoming more aware of now near the end is now, and though you want to push yourself a little further, you're trying to hold back to prolong the experience. (sigh) i feel amazingly accomplished, what with reading upwards of 2500 pages in exactly 8 days, but i also feel very sad to know it's all over.
i'll probably re-read them, several times over, but i'm also open to any new suggestions on a good read. no, scratch that, a GREAT read. after all, i do have to satisfy my hunger with a new obsession until december when the movie comes out.
now, excuse me, while i go cling on to what little hope of a happy life i have left....
