Wilson keeps a diary. I'm never sure how many people visit his LJ, but he tends to reflect on a lot of events that happen in game and tie them together.
It's been an interesting character development tool, which started with a reflective post I never finished writing for him, in which he went up to the waterfall and stared at it while trying to parse some of the things he found out in his first week back.
In his canon, Wilson tends to handle things by himself, maintaining a pose of strength at all times. He rarely shows emotion, although his innermost thoughts are visible in his posture and expression. His internal monologue was slowing me down considerably in tags, so I gave that stuff an outlet that seems to work pretty well, since I don't have RSL at my disposal so I can say "Look heartbroken! Look like you just won the lottery! Look like you're about to jump... whoever!"
So the question is, does anybody else have a pup who actively writes in his or her journal? It seemed like an obvious thing to do, and on the few days when he has nothing else going, it's a way to keep him busy.
