So when I'm upset over something, my mom will typically share a story about him that she knows is sure to please. Here is my retelling...
Grandma and James were at Safeway together and James had to go to the bathroom. James has to go to the bathroom EVERY SINGLE TIME they go to Safeway, and the battery was running low on Grandma's go-cart (she's too weak to walk up and down the aisles) so she told him to go ahead and run there himself and she'd continue her shopping. So James ran (literally, he runs everywhere) and Grandma continued to shop. She ended up going down a different aisle, so when James ran back to where she had been he couldn't find her. He started running up and down all the aisles, and Grandma realized it had been a while, so started to motor up to the Customer Service desk to have him paged. Around this time they ran into each other (or, James ran into the back of the go-cart more like it). James' face was as white as a sheet. Because he was afraid for himself, you wonder? Afraid he'd be lost at Safeway and stuck there forever?? Heck no! His statement upon finding her was, "Ohmigosh, Grandma! I thought an old-person-napper got you!"
