Michael Jordan plays basketball, Charles Manson kills people, and me? Well, I talk.

Dinner and a movie tonight with the K's was refreshing. We learned that your morals and ethics live in your frontal lobe, and the first thing to switch off when you drink happens to be that lobe. Honestly did not know that until tonight, but it makes sense considering the trouble we get into when we drink.

Well, like I always say, who needs a frontal lobe anyway?!

I thoroughly enjoyed Thank You For Smoking, thoroughly. It was just the right amount of sarcasm and wit without being annoying or over the top.

So tomorrow I have to be in Avondale in the morning to help set up for our NASCAR event. I'm struggling with what shoes to wear. I mean, I don't really feel like flip flops are going to be appropriate but it's either that or my sneakers. And if I wear my sneakers what sort of top do I wear? I don't want to show up in a t-shirt. It might be manual labor-ish but it's still business, and I feel like that would be too casual. What do normal people do in situations such as these?

I heard this on the radio tonight while I was driving home, and y'know, I'm human, sometimes music speaks even to me.

Everybody Hurts by R.E.M.

When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone,
When you're sure you've had enough of this life, well hang on
Don't let yourself go, 'cause everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes

Sometimes everything is wrong. Now it's time to sing along
When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on)
If you feel like letting go, (hold on)
When you think you've had too much of this life, well hang on

'Cause everybody hurts. Take comfort in your friends
Everybody hurts. Don't throw your hand. Oh, no. Don't throw your hand
If you feel like you're alone, no, no, no, you are not alone

If you're on your own in this life, the days and nights are long,
When you think you've had too much of this life to hang on

Well, everybody hurts sometimes,
Everybody cries. And everybody hurts sometimes
And everybody hurts sometimes. So, hold on, hold on
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on
Everybody hurts. You are not alone.
