[Today Luceti, there is someone walking around town, still in their newfeather dress and pants. Now this might seem normal...except for the way he can be seen walking around town.

He was doing everything he could to not be seen by anything or anybody in the fail ways of hiding behind trees whenever somebody walks by, or just by trying to hide his ( Read more... )

[action] this is probably an awful idea but I couldn't resist :I imatreenow November 15 2010, 21:33:20 UTC
[This is when Mithos emerges as well - the fewer people around, the better. Once upon a time, he had people to go do things for him. This is no longer the case, and (though a minor inconvenience) it is better this way. Nobody can betray him.]

[Suddenly, a piercing scream from nearby startles him. It was very loud and unexpected. Shut up. He immediately turns his attention in that direction only to see some bumbling fool apologizing to...nothingness. Humanity never fails to incur such feelings of disdain.]

You. Stop your pathetic sniveling. [Because he's Mithos freaking Yggdrasill and people are always subject to his control. It's a difficult habit to break after a few thousand years.]

[It's not nothingness, it's a sword, currently stuck in a tree, that Crona is now trying to shush. Well, he's between trying to quiet it, and now that there's a person? He's also trying to hide.]

B-but-!

[Mithos is under the (incorrect) impression that swords are not sentient. He assumed that all of the irritating noise was streaming from the same pathetic fool. Now that he is being spoken to, however, he realizes that most of the noise appears to be coming from the sword in the tree. Forgetting about the sniveling dog for a moment (sorry, not especially important), he appraises this very interesting new fact. One would think that 4000 years would be enough to see everything there is.]

[And now that sniveling dog doesn't seem quite so useless.]

To whom does that sword belong? [In a very imperious tone.]

[action] Well..it'll be amusing. my_safe_corner November 16 2010, 02:19:19 UTC
[Crona won't answer at first, instead he will just yank Ragnarok right out of the tree, all the while telling him to be quiet. Mostly because Mithos is freaking him out a little, but he still isn't sure how people here will react to talking weapons.]

H-he's mine...

[This pathetic vermin? Wielding such a sword? (Because, surely, it must be rare.) The thought is almost amusing. A small tch, as if he is not pleased with this information. ....Wait, "he"?]

It is its own being? [Interesting. A pause.] Tell me, is it powerful?

[action] And insanity! my_safe_corner November 16 2010, 02:49:55 UTC
...Sort of? [That first question is hard to answer, so Crona doesn't look to sure about it, but the second one he looks very sure about.] Very.

[Crona, can't you see the malevolent flash in Mithos's eyes? You have captured his interest. One more very important question to ask.]

Does it obey its wielder's every intent? I demand to know how it works.

[Yes, he sees that, and he's starting to shy away now.]

He usually does what he wants...And I don't know how it works..

[WRONG ANSWER] How can you wield it and not understand how it works? I assume that it obeys only those who are worthy. You, pathetic dog, clearly are not.

[If he still had his angelic abilities, Mithos would be forcibly taking possession of Ragnarok right about now. Be grateful, Crona, that he has little power.]

[There's going to be a long, stunned silence. Wow, someone has a few problems.]

B-but it's not my fault...I don't even want him.. [And now, that sword is going to quickly disappear into Crona's hand, because if he didn't, Ragnarok would be going off right about now.]

[Mithos watches as the sword is seemingly absorbed into the human's hand, his eyes narrowing in obvious displeasure. And now that glare is directed back to Crona's face.]

Do not take me for a fool. You know more than you are letting on. I do not take kindly to being deceived, inferior being.

[Oookay, taking a few steps back from the scary person now.]

...N-no, I really don't. I was never told.

[Have an INTENSE LOOK OF ANGER AND DISDAIN for a few moments, as Mithos assesses the truthfulness of this statement. Of course he doesn't trust Crona, but it seems that pressing him further will bear nothing. His faith in his own skill and power is still dubious at this point, so he refrains from issuing threats to attain more information. Another time, another time. Because Mithos doesn't drop anything so easily.]

Regardless, what reason is there to want to discard such a powerful weapon? Are you truly that ignorant?

[Well, Crona is telling the truth, even though it's hard to see behind him looking scared.]

He picks on me, and beats me up all the time.

[Oh, don't mind him... Mithos finds it difficult to trust anything that anyone says. He sneers.]

It obviously desires a more worthy master, one who is not a pathetic, whining dog. [A step forward. His eyes never waver from Crona.] I can relieve you of your burden, if it is too much for someone like you to bear. [Because this TOTALLY looks like someone you should give a sword to. Yep. Nothing wrong here.]

[Taking a step back at that. Crona is very fond of having space, thank you!] ...But I can't just give him away.
