losing. hm. interesting.

we lost our game to fairport yesterday. it wasn't even close. weirdly enough though, it was more fun than other games that we won. i think it was probably because for once i wasn't bloody second row. i actually got to play flanker. and i was pleased when mctigue was relieved that i arrived, cuz our pack was weak and i would be a help. i'm much more tolerant of him when he appreciates me. anyway, we played dirty (again) but it wasn't too bad, and we were bratty and rude about staying for the very pleasant social fairport threw for us, but i played a clean game and was polite to the fairport girls, and so i'll let the other stuff go.
it's my dad's birthday tomorrow, but he hates birthdays, so i don't think we'll do anything for it. mum and i chipped in on the complete set of firefly dvds for him and gave it to him last night. i think he was pleased about it too, which is nice as he's difficult to shop for. so anyway, happy birthday dad.
i have to write my stupid regents history practice dbq today, but it shouldn't take very long.
i have a scratch on the palm of my hand from the game yesterday. it's painful and ugly (my hands are looking dreadful these days, it's really annoying.) but what can i do? it's the palm of my hand, i can't put a bandage on it or anything. i guess new skin might work.
my room was really nice this morning. there was a nice cool breeze and it smelled good and it was just lovely. i don't get to laze about very often in the morning, so i took full advantage of it today.
