My dad is having another kid. Not sure if I already mentioned this. But April (the lady who will be bearing said baby) found out that she is losing her job in June so they decided that April is gonna move into my Dad's house. Groovy. What earned her points: "Myriah, which bedroom do you want? Do you want it to be like.. a guest room that you stay in or your room? We just want your opinion because we are just assuming you're gonna move back into your Dad's house after graduation seeing as the job market is shit."
She gets bonus points because she, some random lady that kind of fell into my life by chance, is giving me more stability and sanity than my own mom. Not that I'm seeing her as my mom, but she is for sure some kind of adult figure in my life that cares about me in some way and actually values me as a person.
She invited me to the ultra-sound where they will find out if the bean is a boy or a girl. Which is also the day before my Dad's birthday.
I kind of always wanted to be that cool young auntie, but I guess I'll just be that hella old auntie who is kind of like a grandma.
