So as everyone here probably doesn't know, the current poster-people for my school's ads are two Japanese TV drama stars.
And as everyone also probably doesn't know -- but probably cares more about -- the poster-boy previous to those two was. . . . Ahem. Yes. Ewan McGregor.
No, really. Lord Kenobi himself. Was the AEON poster-child for about 3 years, apparently.
So the other day, I was looking for some white-out when I found an old, old, OLD nametag belonging to a prevoius school employee that had a picture of Ewan on it. So all my SW-geek friends will be proud of me: I swiped it, peeled off the name of the original owner, wrote in "Obi-Wan Kenobi" and wore it for the rest of the day. Most of my students didn't get it (they didn't recognize the name written in English as opposed to Japanese kana). But some of them did get it. And one actually engaged me in a lightsaber battle in the lobby.
Yes, this is how I get my kicks.
For what it's worth, I haven't actually seen the movie yet. It doesn't come out here until July.
