a silver lining shining for you
I am literally the worst updater ever, so I am going to try and cover my entire week in one entry.
We get so caught up in our high school and our county that it's easy to forget that there are hundreds of thousands of high schools all over the country. I was reminded of this last weekend when I attended the Hugh O Brien youth leadership seminar thingy. It was really awesome, especially the people. Each school in Maryland could send one sophomore, and there were like 170 of us. I only knew one person going in, and that was kalyani. My group consisted of people from way Western Maryland and the Eastern Shore. Every single one of them was completely awesome. It was a great weekend.
Graduation was yesterday. Everyone looked so old in their caps and gowns. The speeches and performances were all good, and the ceremony really wasn't too bad. I can't believe that they're done. And it really sucked to have to come home and do homework after that.
I just had three hours of dress rehearsals for dance, so I am exhausted and absolutely ready to go to bed. But now my livejournal doesn't look so unupdated.
