I just finished this book. It's called Prep and it's by Curtis Sittenfield and you should read it. It's about a girl who goes to a boarding school on scholarship, and she (who was an active GT kid like you and me in middle school) becomes too self concious to get involved and as a result only observes the life that goes on around her. It was really a great book. I think the reason I liked it so much was because it offered me a well written perspective from a completely different point of view than mine. Sometimes I get so aggravated with characters in books because I want them to stop being so shy or self concious or whatever and just do whatever they keep thinking about. That's the way I am, most of the time. But this book, it was easy to understand why she was so shy and introverted all of a sudden. I didn't condemn her for not doing what she wanted, because I could understand where she was coming from all of a sudden. It gave me a perspective into another way of living. Anyway, I'm probably way overanalyzing this book, but it's still good and you should read it.

Spring break has been scrumpdiddlyumptious. I spent the entire weekend with my family and my sister was home so that was really nice. Yesterday I went to the mall with chiller for a long time. Then my family ate steak sandwiches and chocolate fondue for dinner. Soo yummy. Then we went to claire's where I whopped sharif's butt in ping pong (just barely) and watched aladdin while sally and i talked in french. Now I'm gonna go play frisbee. I hope everyone elses spring break is as nifty as mine has been!
