Happy Friday!!!
Midterms are done and over, and i didnt have any real midterms today so that was nice. All I had was journalism, where we ate donuts and pretended to work, and advisory, where I scheduled and stole a donut from Mr. Miller's advisory. I'm really proud of myself because I bit the bullet and decided not to take physics. Now that doesnt sound like something to be proud of, but I think it was a really good decision. I've reached the point where I just need to accept that I can't handle everything, which is a point I really needed to reach. So here's the classes I'm taking next year: World History AP, Calculus AB AP, French IV Honors, English 11 GT, Journalism II, Dance Company, Concert Choir.
I'm a little scared of dropping an academic class junior year, but if I'm taking journalism and I take on some editorial duties, I really cant take physics too. Well I could, but it would be extremely stressful and would involve getting less sleep then I already do. And I wouldn't be able to give my all to everything, which is pretty much against my life philosophy. So I've made my decision.
Tonight I'm going to Coffee House at Mad City. If you read this before then, it's 7-10, and its benefitting a really good cause. All of the money is to help a torture survivor from Cameroon go to college while she's here in America. So you should definitely come!! Call me if you need directions, etc.. And pray for snow tomorrow!
