Hello there,
Been a fair wee while since I updated. Is it just me or do I seem to start every post like that now? Hmm. I need to update more.
Anyhow. The past week has been a bit mad. There has been mucho homework and tests. All last week I basically ate, breathed and slept school which is really pathetic. There was just sooo much homework and revision we had to get through. There was a whole week of computing tests, a chem nab (which I have most definitely failed) english essays to write and maths revision to do and on top of that regular homework. It's crazy, the work just seems to keep on coming. I had a scary moment last week where I was determined to leave school because I was just so sick of it, there was no time for anything and I mean anything. Things seemed to have calmed down a wee bit now which is good.
So my weekend was really good. It was Bonfire Night on Friday and the original plan was just for me and Scott to stay in with some munchies and watch the fireworks but when we went down to Scott's his parents said they were going to the green so we went with. It was pretty cool watching the fireworks while cuddling Scott. Heh. Afterwards we went for an 'adventure' in Tesco while his parents shopped. It was actually fun though it doesn't sound like it. I was really tired when we got back so after some munch me and Scott went for a wee sleep which was nice. I nearly forgot to come home though cos my mum phoned to say she was coming to pick me up but I fell asleep again which wasn't smart.
On Saturday it was the usual trip to town with Kirsty, it was bucketing though at the end of the day which wasn't too pleasant and we had to run about just before we came home trying to find silver paper plates but we got em eventually. At night time it was really cool cos it was my Gran and Granda's 60th wedding anniversary so we had a mini party for them. All during the day we'd had been surprises for them so my Gran was all excited at night. She got a card from the Queen and a bouquet of flowers from the council, then she got 3 bouquets delivered to her from friends and stuff. At night time we got her sister and brother-in-law down but she didn't know about it so when she came in she got a wee surprise cos she doesn't see them often. We got such a pretty cake for them too. It said 'Congratulations on your 60th anniversary mum and dad' and it had wee silver flowers with crystals in them at the corners with grey icing on top of white icing for the lettering so it looked all pretty and 3D. So it was a really nice night, me Kirsty and Scott sat down the stairs all night and stuffed our faces which is always cool. Scott was in his element fiddling about with my Granda's video camera so that kept us amused for a bit of the night.
Sunday we went to the pics as per usual. At night time there was a mad rush to do our english essay as we had left it too late, I finished it just in time though so that wasn't soo bad although it is absolute mince.
Gotta finish all my homework off tonight so I don't have to do any tomorrow night. Brace gets fitted tomorrow, eek!
Anyhow I be off.
xx
