Hello there,
Tis early, very very early for a Saturday, although I've been up for 3 hours. Feel quite energetic actually. Anyhow.
Thursday was the 50 Cent and G Unit concert. It was sooo good. The run up to it wasn't too good though. We had to wait in the queue to get it for over an hour but then when we did get in we got really near the front which was cool. The support acts were rubbish, I don't even know who they were actually, I think one of them was Dizzee Rascal but I'm really not sure. It was really rubbish cos people kept pushing for no reason, even between the support people and 50 Cent. It was soo warm too, warmer than Obie Trice, so like 5 girls had to get taken out cos they were fainting all over the place. When 50 Cent did come on he was soo good, but only Lloyd Banks was there so it was a bit of a con saying 50 Cent and G Unit on the tickets when Young Buck was missing. In Da Club was amazing, especially cos of the ticker tape, it was soo pretty. Then when they were doing Betta Ask Somebody there were fire balls shooting up in the middle of the stage which was really cool, you could feel the heat from where we were too, it was like 'Woah, what's happening here?!?' THEY DID SMILE!!!! I was so chuffed about that cos thats like my favourite song of all time. Scott lifted me up too so I could see them and Lloyd Banks was RIGHT infront of me so I waved and he waved back!! They did In Da Club, Poppin Them Thangs (my name's in that song!), Betta Ask Somebody, Wanna Get To Know Ya, Smile, Lay Your Ass Down, Many Men, I'm So Hood, If I Can't, P.I.M.P (I think), a few Lloyd Bank's songs and I'm sure I've forgotten some. 50's soo good in concert and he kept throwing stuff to the crowd. He threw both shoes, his vest, his t-shirt thing he had on top of that, his first hat, his baseball hat, his bandana, his towel, tons of bottles of water and was gonna throw his trousers but didn't. Lloyd Banks threw his hat and towel I think. It was such a good night apart from the getting squished and the drunk people but you can only expect that. Defo going back to see him when he comes back. My hair was an absolute mess after it, cos it was so warm and I'd been leaning against Scott I was all sticky and sweaty which was pretty nasty. Hah, Scott's Young Buck poster dissintegrated. They threw them out before 50 came on, which was pretty stupid cos it was obvious they were gonna get wrecked from people jumping about but still, and Scott got one (I smacked a guy in the side of the head trying to get one, but alas someone else grabbed it.) His was fine til he shoved it down his trousers to pick me up then it got all soggy. He lost a corner of it in the SECC tunnell too. It's actually fine now, just some creases and stuff, woulda been perfect if he had the missing corner but we're just gonna make one for it I think. So yeah I had a fantastic time and 50 seems a dead nice guy, I'd always thought he'd be quite raar and like a real 'gangsta' but he seemed down to earth and stuff. Oh yeah, the girl in front of me when I was walking out had 50's t-shirt, I was sooo jealous lol. Anyhow I will stop ranting about the concert now.
So on Friday it was school obviously, which wasn't too bad. At night I went down to Scott's as usual and we had a really nice night. He's got a walk in wardrobe thingy and up the back there's a cool wee hiding space thing, so we just sat in there for a good bit of the night with pillows and a blanket and listened to music, it was lovely.
Today I'm off to see A Cinderella Story again with Kirsty and then we're going a wee shop I think and we'll come back to mines as per usual at night. Should be a good day.
Oh yeah, last night I seen the horriblest thing EVER. We were walking round papers and this reeeeally cute Dulux dog was in the park and it ended up in front of us so we were just walking along and the owner started pure tugging on the lead cos the dog was walking up against the wall and having a wee sniff of it. But he was pulling so hard the dog was actually spinning right round. It wasn't even doing anything wrong, just doing what dogs do. So then we got to the corner and he went to cross the road with it so it sat down but it must have got up or something because I turned round and he had a hold of the dog and started shoving its wee face against the pavement and shouting I'll break your fucking neck dog. I was so upset, and I wanted to say something to him but I couldn't cos he looked kinda neddy and scary, and he wasn't like young, he musta been at least late 20's. It was so awful. I told my mum when I got in and we stood and watched to see if he would go by but he didn't, which was good in a way cos my mum would have ran out and gubbed him one if she'd seen him. It was so nasty too, cos the dog looked a really nice dog, and it didn't even growl or anything when he was pulling it and hitting it, I felt so bad for it.
Now that I've depressed everyone I think I should leave.
Meg xx
