I AM UPDATING!!
SEE I AM UPDATING THINGS!!!! Why this wonderful event? Because i am so very very sick and tired of studying for my Greek oral test today.
Yesterday, when i was walking to school with Katya she was proudly wearing her bright green soccer jersey that she had just bought at the flea market on sunday. When we were calmly standing somewhat patiently at the crosswalk waiting to see if the cars would stop at the red light a cab driver looked over at her and yelled "You are wearing the wrong jersey!" He was evidently NOT a fan of the green team. He made it quite clear that the color she should be wearing was red.
Let me see, what else have i been doing. Oh! Last week my entire school went to Crete (an large island south of athens) so that we could go look at minoan ad mycenean ruins. My group (go Bus D!) was clearly the best. While everyone else had was packed into their buses, by group only had about 20 people and could stretch out in our own set of seats.
Most of the time in Crete was spent going to places like Knossos (basically bronze age palaces and villas) but in the evenings we werwe on our own. The advisability of actually letting us wander on our own was questioned by the fact that in Iraklion, katie and i immediatly got lost. Not in that we didn't know where we were. We knew exactly where we were, and were even able to point it out on the map we managed to find on the street,our problem was..we did not know where the hotel was. Eventually we found Alicia and Selene, & stuck to their sides like glue until they led us home. But getting lost wasn't that bad, on what we THOUGHT was the way to the hotel we managed to find the harbor and were let into the Venitian Fortress for FREE by the nice lady at the ticket counter.
Well that is all as i am unable to justify not studying for much longer. BYE!
