You know what is amazing? this. It's a map of where buses are in real time so you can see how late far away your bus is. It's only a Sydney Buses map though so I guess the only person who finds it cool is me...
Yeah, moving on. I'm back from the USA where I learned many things. Like why I should never subscribe to cable. Or why people actually enjoy wearing ugg boots (they are surprisingly efficient in keeping feet warm according to my cousins but you will never ever convince me to buy a pair sorry).Also why snow days are kind of the most magical things ever. I also picked up some really good habits, like waking up at noon. So now, thanks to jet lag I get up perfectly on time here in Australia :D It does mean that I usually want to drop off at about 8pm but hey, my life doesn't get very interesting after 9 anyway.
In other news, I got the chance to watch a preview screening of I Am Number Four the other day. Alex Pettyfer shows off his abs, Dianna Agron is gorgeous and Teresa Palmer kicks some serious alien butt in the movie.
It's based on a book which always makes me iffy but I have to say, this is one of the cases where the film actually outdoes the book. I think it might be because it's such an action intense story, the fights are easy to translate to the screen. I really loved the soundtrack too, so I might need to go IMDB that because I recognised absolutely none of the songs/artists. Hooray for new music :D
I'm back to uni in about a week so you'll be seeing much more of me here, haha. I've transferred to a double degree and I have to catch up on all the first year science subjects so I have six classes this semester which might actually just kill me.
