you swore you'd never tell
You know what really annoys me lately? How all book recommendations for YA novels direct me towards books with black covers and stupid titles like Haunted or Blood Lust. Grr. I just read this completely depressing book by Sara Zarr called Sweethearts which is far less light-hearted teen romance and more 'I need a box of tissues now' kind of fiction which I totally wasn't expecting but enjoyed anyway. But my quest for some fluffy YA has been thwarted by the craze that is stupid sparkly vampires (also, with the release of Eclipse my morning television watching has also been ruined but that's a whole other matter). Do you have anything you'd like to recommend? Any books in general even because I have three more weeks of semester break and it's too cold to do anything but sit inside and read.
