Culture Inventory Monthly: February

Book: Hem, hem... well, I've started three and finished one (but February is really short month, you know) and I don't think this one deserves this honour. But for March I have a surprise. Not so much for you as for me, but still...

Movie: Once - Finally!
As far as I know, women are more fond of this movie than men. Too romantic, they say and I must disagree. Well, of course it has some kind of romantic scent but unlike the most of other romantic movies this can happen because there's no happy ending;-)
By the way, I love the scene with the vacuum cleaner. I'm thinking of a little walk with our old vacuum cleaner... just once;-)

Music: OST - Once - how original! But perfect music for this month.

Action: My short stay in Karviná with my friend Petra. The first evening we found out that almost nothing had changed since we were young... er and we weren't able to finish a bottle of wine in a pair. No matter that that evening we didn't finish the second bottle.

This is Charlie, the walking parrot. She almost never flies, but sometimes she gets out of her cage and walks in the living room or in the kitchen. Once, she exceeded all expectations and actually flied and than sat down on the refrigerator. But she was too scared to fly back to the cage, so she was walking and met Maggie.

And one bonus: Have you seen The Ring?

Spanish phrase: Cuando las ranas críen pelo./ When frogs have hairs (ugh, poor translation)./ When hell freezes over.
