Yakima Round Two
I'm back in Yakima, WA for another month. Bethanie is tending the new home. So far she has handled, among other things, ants, the new lawn mower, stray dogs and installing the new gas dryer. She also handles the banking like a pro. I don't think I could have left things in better hands.
Out here most thing are going well. Of the four of us on this crew, three of us are(were) having a great time. Jay, the other pilot besides myself, has offically become a complete ass. This prick has menopausal PMS style mood swings. He had never been a friendly person, but lately he flips out and has a hissyfit at the drop of a hat. Complete prick. Tonight he threatened to have me kicked out of the Army because me and the rest of my crew were four minutes late getting to the aircraft. If we were on a medievac mission I could see his point. It was a lame training flight. A one hour flight using night vision goggles. He tries to uses his senior rank to cover up the fact that he lacks any personality. As B would say, Ooy!
The new house is great. B is spending every dollar she can find furnishing it. It does look nice. If you haven't seen the new place, chances are you haven't seen either of us for some time. Plane tickets are not that expensive; buy one and come see us. NOW Dammit!!!
