jus' wanna give a few shout-outs to all the things i'm feeling right now...
1. www.bannedindc.com - for keeping it real.
2. chuck and al budd from the black cat - for being all around crucial dudes.
3. DOGS/THE RAKES/VATICAN DC - for being three of my favorite new bands right now.
4. my boss - for coming to PARANOIA at the asylum last week to see me d.j. she's old, rich, been married twice and has 3 kids. how crucial is that?
5. NIKE SB - for all the controversy with the MINOR THREAT image. keep ya head up, kid.
6. erin holloway - for being erin holloway aka girl about town aka the coolest chick ever. yes, EVER.
7. ebay - for keeping me knee deep in rare vinyl.
8. THE OTHERS - for having a singer who's always forthcoming with the fact that his lover is a transexual. AND that the aforementioned transexual is the inspiration for most of the songs on the album.
9. SET TO EXPLODE/DEAD STOP/86 MENTALITY - for playing it like it's '83 and not '88.
