The Beatles

“A British bobby George - pensive and stone-faced for a change. Pictures of George smiling are rare indeed!&”

“If it isn’t the Old Stone-face again. Come on George - SMILE!”

“No privacy with Ringo Starr and camera around.”

“I guess we’re all pretty buggy about cameras. It’s a really gear feeling to snap a picture of something pretty or interesting and have it come out looking really well.”

“Poor George is all pooped out. Like the rest of us everything he has goes into his performance - and out to the audience.”

“A fraction away from a smile.”

“After a hard day’s work it’s the greatest feeling to loosen your tie and just relax. That’s almost an unknown word to us Beatles.”

“George is really serious about the guitar. He spends his spare time studying the Spanish guitar and his favourite performer is Andres Segovia.”

“George is a perfectionist - especially when it comes to his music. Before each recording session he practices alone for a while to make sure everything sounds just right.”

“There’s our chauffeur sitting with George. A real great guy and in no time at all he was one of us.

“Well who do we have here - John! My goodness, what else can he do? Write, paint, sing, photograph - and now this!”

“All the songs that John and Paul write for us were thought out and strummed on the guitar from the very beginning. I guess the reason for this is that neither of the boys knows how to read or write music.”

“Grumble, grumble… looks like John has a thorn in his side. Come on John - smile!”

“Recording sessions are harrowing times - got to get everything just right. John usually cuts on one mike, while George and Paul share a second and I play to a third.”

“John was trying to play his guitar upright and from the looks of things didn’t do so well.”

“Come on John - straighten up. Oops sorry - you can’t, those low ceilings again.”

“John is a camera-bug too, though he hasn’t as much time to spend on it as I do - with his writing and all. But one thing you can be sure of - wherever we go - so does the camera.”
