Work madness and home stuff...

I finally got my computer back after a week. Actually I got a different computer and I've had to transfer all the files over and begin downloading all the software. Spent most of the morning dealing with critical items, and I'm finally free to take a late lunch before I return to deal with the backlog.

Our Community Association meeting is this week and I get to run the meeting as the President will be out of pocket. This is the second time this year. Evidently this is my week to be stuck in front of people, I had to teach a costuming class earlier this week for my local living history group.

I don't have a newsletter this month, but I might print some fliers for the National Night Out celebration we are holding at the beginning of August for our members to hand out.

I went to the Farmers market the other week and had bought some arugula and butter bibb lettuces and am still eating on it!

I've taken to making salads dressed with olive oil only, and no vinegar. I just like it better that way, I'm able to pick up the flavors of the lettuces and the other ingredients.

Himself's parents came into town on Saturday so I did not get to go to the Chattanooga Market. I'll run by Greenlife if I get in a bind.

I don't know if I mentioned it before, but EARTH FARE is opening up a store on Gunbarrel Rd next to the Target. They have one in knoxville and it's like a superstore version of what greenlife is now.  This will be closer to me than going over the river to Greenlife (much as I like them ) but I expect they will also have a wider selection of Gluten Free Products.

I'm really torn between going back to Henna auburn for my hair and re-dyeing a dark brown. My hair used to be a goth black (Fiera) a little over a year ago...and I have been transitioning it to a dark brown. I let it grow out a couple of inches, then dyed it dark brown. Now it's grown out again about the same length, and I've got most of the older heavy black stuff trimmed off, so Now I get to pick if I do the Henna or continue with the dark brown. I've discovered that black or red will cover grey far better than most of the browns will. As far as brown, I've only had decent results with either the L'Oreal Fiera or L'Oreal Preference. Regardless it's always a mess, so I guess we will see how that goes.
