Well, my boss gave us a new (to us) computer for K. And it appears to be more powerful than mine which is great, cause he's the big gamer.
And you know how it is in old houses, never enough outlets.
After some MASSIVE furniture (and Clutter) re-arranging, we found a way to
1. Get everything close enough to enough outlets to get it all plugged in
2. Get the computers close enough to share a router
3. Give each of us a work station that was comfortable for both of us.
4. Getting my filing, er backfiling near my workstation and file cabinet.
I was up till 2 AM last night trying to get the darn Router to work and had to give up.
So tonight, I spent 2 hours on the phone with my ISP and then the Router Company's Tech Support. The first hour they tried everything I tried. I ended up working with three different people. The third pseron I talked finally got both of our computers online (They had to do something manually). By the time it was all set up, I'd missed my show. Grrr.
Poor Poor K.... his computer looks like it's never been updated. He won't get to do much gaming until it's gone through what looks like years? of updates...heh heh heh. It's been 3 hours and it's only 48% done. He can't game till it's over.
Well, it was free. So it's still so super worth it. Thanks Boss-man!
But that's ok. K was go greatful that I got it all figured out, that he went out and bought me pizza. MMMMM. Cheezy goodness.
I need to make a little seat for the cat so he can set next to me and not feel lonely.
