Contemplating New Years Resolutions

Is anyone else still contemplating new years resolutions?
Has the economy changed your goals for the new year in any way?

Mine have. My main new years resolution is to try my best to hang on to my house. So far I'm not ever hit the 30-day late mark, but I've come close too many times for comfort.

Other new years resolutions:

Continue learning Quickbooks, I'm able now to do all the accounts payables functions at work, all the payroll, cutting and printing checks, and some tax stuff. I've just learned how to work on the accounts receivables, and reconciling the check registers to the bank statements. Now mundanely on regular paper I've been doing all this forever, but this is just learning this software... so it's mostly technical. It's actually one of the greatest things that have happened to me this year, this part time Job I have now, because I got to learn something new and interesting.

Work on my house. It's really taken a back seat to the SCA and the Community Association and the sewing society this year. I've reconfigured my duties in both to make less acute demands on my time, and I'm hoping this allows me to focus on getting that darn parlor done. I know once I do it, I'll say why didn't I work on it sooner, it really did not take all that long!

Work the garden some. I don't know how well the seeds from last year will work, I barlely touched any, but I'm thinking about renting a tiller this year if I can spare the change. Last year the guy who tilled really didn't get deeper than chopping up the sod. I was so tired by the time we worked in the soil amendments that we never did plant anything and it grassed over while I was busy with the SCA and the NLI classes.

Be better at putting things back in their place. It looks like a yarn bomb exploded in my living room right now. The kitchen is not so bad, especially since I got everything in mouseproof containers. I'd like to do the same for my paper files and my sewing room.
