Last day tomorrow.

Things I've learned in high school.

1. How you look is a big part of how people treat you in high school. Some say that it doesn't matter what you look like. The people that say that are attractive.

2. The more you seem to worry about something, the less of a chance it seems to happen.

3. People change when then begin dating the opposite sex. Girls will suddenly become stupid and giggly while boys become jerks and backstabbers.

4. Alcohol and marijuana can possibly be one of the number one ruiners of a good time. It can be fun occastionally, but every weekend it gets repetitive. Here's an idea, try and have fun without it, you may be surprised.

5. You have to think of the people that are "cool" now, and imagine them and where they will be in 10 years. Suddenly they don't seem so cool anymore.

6. You can find a best friend in a month, a week, or even a day. If you don't believe me, go on a natural helpers retreat.

7. The harder you try to look cool, the stupider you look. It may take a while, maybe even all four years for people to figure you out. But once they do, you are labeled as the idiot forever.

8. As much as you love your significant other now, you will want to rip their heart out about a week after you break up with them. Guaranteed.

9. Never think you have someone figured out, because the minute you do, they will surprise you.

10. High School can be "stupid, boring, or a holding cell", however the more you think of it as that, the worse it becomes. If you look it at it as being one of the best times of your life, it very well could be.

I know a lot of people hated high school, and at times, I have to admit that I did too. But looking back, maybe it was one of the better times of our lifes. We had no responsibility, no bills, no worries. We had the world at our hands and everyone believed in us and our stupid dreams. Now we are in the real world and people don't care how you are, if you are sick, or where you want to be in 10 years.

Good luck to everyone in the class of 2005. Always keep your high school memories and childish innocence close to your heart.

I love you all!!!
