springtime for Hitler

but not for me...

BUT, I charmed and puched my way into meeting the stage manager of the national tour of The Producers tonight! She was informative, friendly, very New York, and her only degree is a BA in Performance from U of Maryland. It's eaxctly what I need to comfort me when I freak about grad school - if I don't get in, in three years, if I work hard (which is all I know how to do) I could be the Production Stage Manager of the national tour of Spring Awakening!

So thrilling! And she told me to send my resume everywhere, walk my way into any theatre and introduce myself to the stage manager, and to call her whenever I like. Excellent.

Now, however, it's so cold in my house, I'm wearing my angora sweater to bed. That sounds very Carrie Bradshow, but I assure you it isn't. Although I am reading the fabulously thick holiday issue of Vogue, I am wearing a tee shirt, a long sleeved shirt, the sweater, leggings, sweats, and wool socks. Carrie never wore that many layers, not even in Paris in the winter. I'm more like a chic eskimo.

I have sleepiness, so I will trundle me off to bed, but I just had to share my good luck. Being tenacious and pushy got me somewhere after all!
