What happened to Andrae?

OMG.

So, extra footage of PRunway on the Bravo website is the best thing ever. BEST THING. Get this: so much more Santino Tim impressions from Season 2, and (my new favorite thing!) Daniel Vosovic talking about being BISEXUAL!!! (Santino is too.)

He pretty much said everything about being bi that I have ever said. It is so awesome. Ach, looooooove for him. (And, now that he's 80/20 at he puts it, major lust. )

I'm so bored. I'm probably going to this Indian Festival later but I don't want to go by myself. Xin Wei hasn't answered so I might just go alone. Hmm. I'll get some good food and watch dancing and stuff. I hope it's good.

later, lovers

EDIT:

The more I look at Kara's Season 2 4th place collection, the more I am struck by how current her designs are. Leggings, shorts dressed-up, high waists. She's definitely like nothing else we're seeing right now (especially re: color) but her collection could fit right into to anyone's season-conscious wardrobe. Unlike the winner...

Chloe's were horrid, really. So 80's with the dropped waists (the opposite of Now) and the pants and shilouettes are just LAST FALL. All of the victorian high lace collars and baroque details among the heavy silks... awful. And what she's doing with her win - staying in Houston and putting out her line to be sold only at her own store? That's not what the next top American designer should do.

Especially in comparison with Santino, who would be all up in New York's fashion scene, getting his line in as many boutiques he could. Jay McC has a corporate deal with Target and also a higher-end line showing at Bryant Park this year. Kara's stuff is being sold at Girlshop in NYC and she's doing great. New things but things that are wearble and current. Chloe... I just don't know. Dissapointing.

Even Daniel V would have made the most of what PRunway gave him. his collection was lameish but the more I look at it, not as lame as Chloe's. (And I really like her. ) he did interesting things with shilouettes and even if his tops this season should be paired with pencil skirts or cigarette pants instead of the bootcut ones he constructed, he was doing the military thing which is very now as well.

Santino's was just elegant except for that one Arthurian leather armor outfit and should go somewhere. All of his lovely Proenza Schouler-y structed empire tops were fabulous. I don't know what the judges were talking about when they complained about fit. They're crackers. Maybe three of the pieces weren't perfect but just LOOK at Chloe's collection! As Heidi would say, Day-um!

Bah, back to the New York Magazine website to look at celebrity photos and gawk at the ugly fashion editors.
