Nohell's Story (little G's new bedtime favorite)

Once upon a time there was a doll named Nohell (pronounced Noel for little G), that was just like every other doll built at Santa's workshop at the North Pole.  The elves packaged her up in a Christmas present box and placed her in one of Santa's sacks like all the other toys they made.  But while Santa was delivering the toys that Christmas Eve, Nohell was touched by some of the magic of winter and became alive.  She broke out her present box and crawled out of the sack of toys, some of which she broke on her way out.  Once she was free of the sack Santa noticed her and said, "Oh my we cannot give you to any good boys or girls as a present anymore, you're alive.  I think you should come back to the North Pole with me and fix and make toys like the ones you broke."  This sounded okay to Nohell so she went back with Santa and went to work with his elves.  She did that for a while but soon grew bored.  She wanted to live and play with a family of her own.  So on the next Christmas Eve she snuck into one of Santa's sacks and flew away from the North Pole.  When Santa was delivering toys in California Nohell crawled out of the sack and fell on the ground.  It was very warm in California, making Nohell very slow.  So she laid there on the ground until a Californian toymaker found her.  That toymaker wrapped her up in a new box and put her on a shelf in a toy store.  And that is where little G's father found her.  He said to himself, "that sure is a cute doll, I'm sure little G would love her."  So he bought Nohell from the toy store and took her back to put in his suitcase.  After the trip back to Michigan, little G's father gave her the doll from his suitcase.  Little G was very happy and so was Nohell, because now she had family she could be part of and play with.
