Tis the season.. for snow.. I just got done sweeping the walkway, yes sweeping. I still have to go out and buy a proper snow shovel, just one of many things to do not that I am a home owner. Who would of thought we would get 3-4 inches over the holiday, but that's Michigan. It doesn't look like its going away either, if the temperatures over the last week have anything to say about it (COLD).
I had plenty to eat on Thanksgiving, but the sweeping should help fight the holiday bulge. We also got an early Christmas gift from my in-laws, with whom we had turkey. We now have new pots and pans with which to cook on. I know, why is the man of the house excited. But I am the cook, so I should be the most excited. Okay, Rachel is the only one who cooked on them so far (she wanted grilled cheese), as I have been attacking the leftovers.
I have been spending all this (well most of) this wonderful free time from work leveling up my characters in CoV. Just got Super-Speed for my robotic mastermind and have been zipping all over the islands. It is so much nicer not getting gacked by some roving gang while you are trying to get to a mission. I am also surprised at how well the mastermind solos, and I am starting to see the game knows as well (lots of yellows and oranges on my missions). I actually grouped with some friends and we took one of my missions. It turned out to be one of the hardest ones yet. I also got the outbreak mission from the Radio by myself (we did it before as a group), the one with the four drop off points and a map full of Longbow agents. I got nearly half my exp from level 13 to 14, on that one map (I almost cleared it). When we did it as a group, our stalker stealthed his way to all the drop offs, and we only killed what we wanted.
I have a corrupter as well, but it is slow going with that class. I can take on reds and win, one on one (hover is nice). But in the missions with multiple foes, I am usually dogmeat unless I am really sneaky and slow.
But enough of the gamer speak, I will hopefully post on more than just the holiday breaks.
