YOU CAN IGNORE ME IF YOU WANT. But, after asking Katie about it, I'm going to cut out (almost) everything unnecessary from my last post to see if I can actually have a short recap. If you read both, tell me which you prefer. Or tell me if I'm just being paranoid, and my ridiculously long posts aren't actually as bad as I think they must be.
Sunday, March 15
Sunday was fun, despite a late-ish start. Justine, Katie, and I met up with Satu and went to the Museum of Science, heading straight for the Mythic Creatures exhibit. That was cool, if small. Nice variety, but more interactive stuff would've been nice. Worth the $5 (with the pass). :D
After the exhibit, we walked to Quincy Market, for caffeine and food. Didn't get lost! And I even helped us backtrack through Haymarket to the T stop from Saturday (complete with narration). The rest of the day was fairly simple -- dropped Katie at home (and saw her newly-cleaned room!), chatted with her family, was dropped at home by Justine, and went for Chinese food with my parents.
Monday was nonexistent. Other than seven hours of work. Meh.
Tuesday, March 17 -- Saint Patrick's Day!
So, I accidentally wore a green shirt on St. Patty's Day. Which is probably necessary, with being half-Irish. Anyway, I forgot my wallet and couldn't donate blood when I went with my dad, so we decided to skip out on that and check out the awesome super-exciting fun times of Home Depot. Achieved wood and no splinters. \o/ The rest of the day was pretty much just library. Saw Justine, Andrew, and Tory for a bit (and didn't manage to get dinner with Justine and Andrew, due to their Watchmen plans, but oh well).
Wednesday, March 18
I didn't work! NO LIBRARY! But, alas, a lazy do-nothing day actually became a day of do-something. I went with Justine and Paige to a consignment shopped owned by their family friend. I had fun trying on super-tall shoes, and, although I didn't end up getting any shoes, I ended up with some cool shirts and a purse. :D Aaaand found Paige a delicious prom dress. Black and white and way too similar to Justine's old prom dresses, but absolutely GORGEOUS nonetheless.
After shopping, we got pizza, dropped Paige at work, and headed back to Justine's, where Andrew met up with us. There was some anger over miscommunication and failed replanning of a walk together and so on, but I think I helped sort stuff out. I hope. We decided to see if Katie was free, to sort some other unresolved stuff out with her, so we managed to grab her (yay for little homework!) and went to the mall until it closed. And all I can say is as lonely as I can be, what with not being in school, I do not miss angst. XP But oh well. Life. Gotta live it.
