slowly walking down the hall, faster than a cannonball...
well i think this will be my last entry before i leave. i dunno if ill have time to write during the three days i get back from brazil and before i leave for europe with my orchestra (yaaaaay SCYO!) but i will try. i might just have one huuuuge journal entry about the whole kitnkaboodle when im back in august lol.
we are still not completely ready for brazil but i think this last week will smooth out all the edges in our performance. we heard our schedule the other day and its going to be very busy....im humongously excited about the shoe and leather outlets down there that are supposed to be madd cheap! somethin like 50 bucks for a leather jacket...i just cant wait. normally im not so big on leather but come on when its that inexpensive...
and apparently they have a pizza shop down there that makes the most interesting pizzas and you get to sample all of them in one meal. i think ryans favorite was chicken heart pizza...yeah i wasn't very enthusiastic about that one either...
in addition to playing around the city and in schools and stuff, we're going to be teaching the children how to play recorder (i dunno about this language barrier thing going on or how thats gonna work) and then at the end of our full week there they are going to give a concert at a church! apparently it is the biggest event this particular church will have put on, so its extra important.
ok im going to go pack relatively soon. the funny thing is the weight lkimit for brazil is 70 pounds but the weight limit for europe is only 30...so the day i get back im going to start pulling things out of my super heavy suitcase to make it 40 pounds lighter....ohhh boy. hopefully i wont have used all 70 pounds anyway.
i got my madd cool fleece yesterday at commissioning. its warm and it has my name on it so ha.
ok i gotta run now. ill try to write again in a couple weeks, and if not, ill be back in august! lol bye yall.
