(no subject)
Last night, Ken came home for 2 hours- we picked him up, picked up a few groceries, made a quick library stop, then went to KFC to use a coupon/for dinner. Talia was well behaved, so it was nice :)
When we got home, we carved a pumpkin. Talia had a lot of fun. I got pictures & video & even participated in the gunk squishing with Talia. I drew the face on, & Ken carved it. It was a good night :)
Then Ken helped me put Talia to bed (I really appreciate that he does that on nights like this when he has to go back to school), & then went back to the University to stay overnight.
Last night I did NOT sleep well. I think I managed to get enough sleep, but I felt like I woke up every 2 minutes to change sides because my ribs hurt. It sucked.
When I get around to putting the pics on the computer, I'll have to post them (of our pumpkin carving).

I don't have a car today which is ok b/c I have a TON of things to do around the house.
The kitchen is quite a mess (except the table which is cleared off nicely after our pumpkin carving) <--I think today I'll just pick one section of counter at a time to clean, & try to get the kitchen done that way instead of doing everything at once.
I also have a few loads of laundry to put away- I need to make myself do that, or the mess will get worse. I just loathe it these days because it involves a lot of bending over & such.
The living room has also become a mess- amazing how easily that happens. Not sure if I'll get to that.
And of course T's room could use some tidying, & probably everywhere else ;)
I should do something fun with Talia, too.
