how bout em apples
Hey everyone, im updating my blog once again...yes i know what your thinking "gee whiz girl 'bout time" lol well here is a little something for u.
school: well school is school always learning more about Jesus christ the author and finisher of my faith. He's a great guy and i love him to bits. I can't wait till i can get to heaven and hear him say "well done my good and faithful servant". Think about your lives. Where are you at? are you doing what has always been in your heart? or are you slacking a little(not trying to be mean or anything but hey its an eyeopener it was for me) Although i am working on the call on my life i have had so many other oppourtunities come my way. I got asked to run a kidz homegroup in Rykert here in st catharines and i did a test trial day and then decided not to due to the fact that i needed a job which i believe i talked about in my last blog entry.
Job: well things are going fine and dandy at the job...i finished my 3rd week of training and only have 2 more weeks left to go. however these next few weeks i will be working till 1 am so im not too pumped about that but i know the reward will be perfect. Capital one is a great company to work for and im enjoying it. My Job at Capital one is to activate credit cards for people calling in from the states. This past tuesday they threw me on the phones and i started to take calls. I was very scared, my voice was messed up because i was shaking,my hands were cold cuz inside it was cold. My first night i made 1 sale on wednesday night before i started my shift on the phone i sat there and i said a little prayer saying "Jesus help me do my best on the phone today, let my words come out crystal clear, help me to bring forth a positive attitude even though i might not get the positive attitude i want back from the customers, Jesus work threw me to get to these customers Amen" so i start off like that and i made 12 sales that night. The next day i went to work prayed the same prayer and made 15 sales that night. I had some very touched people on the other line. I had one lady that cried because we did a type-o on her credit limit and her mother had just died and by our correcting the type-o she burst into tears, now i had watery eyes after that phone call. Now i also had some very humourous people call in and i laughed so hard cuz they were making me laugh by all the crazy things they said to me.
Boyfriend: Things are going great with Jim. He is very special to me. We went out for valentines to the church for the valentines dinner and we had a blast. With me working our time is cut in half quite a bit but we still have weekends to hang out with each other. Jim is an evangelist he wants to bring forth God's word all over the world like our church pastor Peter does. Jim is a very strong man in prayer and in God's word. Jim always knows what to say to me when im feeling low. Our relationship is God based & always will be. Just to let you all young ladies who might be reading this blog...if your going to date, choose a guy that has his heart right with God. i have been soo blessed to have a guy that loves the lord and loves me for who i am. Girls be yourselves dont go changing your image to get the guy. If he cant except you for being you then he's not worth your time. and above all things pray about it and pray continually while your in your relationship. God is with you and he always will be with you. If you continue to grow in God before and during your relationship your going to be blessed in more ways than one!
