All i need is you Lord!
Hey Everybody, how's it going? Are things in manitoba a little chilly these days? Well don't worry we have been done our heat spell for over a month now here in st.cats and we have moved on to our very chilly cold spell. School has been going good. On monday we started a class with Eddie Hyatt from Texas. He taught us all about 2000 years of charismatic chrisitianity it was a good class but i can't say that it really intrested me all that much because it was a history class which wasn't the greatest. But hey at least im getting something out of Wibi. On monday night i went to monday night church prayer and spent some time there praying it up, pouring my heart to God. I find that when i go to prayer i start the week off good. So i can't complain. Tuesday had another day of classes which went well and then had one of em weekly meetings with Pastor RoxAnne she's soo amazing, she's basically a parent to me out here because she helps me out soo much she lets me vent and then she helps me out by telling me scriptures and all sorts its great. Her hugs are the best! So yea had an amazing meeting with her...we laughed...got teary eyed but in the end it was great. Tuesday night Beth Heimple came over for night....as much as i love Beth i had to sacrifice myself with patience,goodness,and kindness not saying thats hard for me but with Beth she does so much annoying stuff these days that she can really trigger anybodys nerves because she's just Beth but because i have Christ in me i have to control my emotions big time with her. She was going to take me out today at the football game from behind like she did with 2 other people who really beat on her verbally and a bit physically too. However she's the main thing i have to give up to God because she really irriatates me but anyways i'll keep going. So she spent the night and all went well. Wednesday Sarah DeRidder came over for night because she worked a late shift with Shelby and then she would of had to bike home in the snow and it was quite icy so it was just easier for her to bike here instead. So yea thursday after school i came home to quickly change and then head back to school to get some lunch and then walk my friend Melody Dickinson over to my house she came to hang out for the day and then have a sleepover it was great! Watched some spongebob and watched some movie called Best men it was really gay and retarted. Anyways at bedtime we talked for about 2hrs it was great we got to know each other soo much better than what we thought. Friday i just hung out at home all evening because it was too cold too go out but we had to go and get some groceries to make supper. So yea came home and relaxed after that. Saturday Kateri and i got ready to go out for the wibi bowl. We dressed super warm or so we thought....but we had a good time although we froze our butts off. But i must say it was an intresting day. Came home and the first thing i did was go to the bathroom then use the blow dryer to my feet because they were ice cold it was insane. 2 pairs of socks in a pair of shoes do not even work. Now im sitting here typing this long long long page of what i've been doing this week but the week is still not over. This sunday well in 2 hrs exactly lol i will be singing in the choir @ 10 am well technically i start at 9am because i have to be there for sound check and all the goods. However its our Christmas Kick-Off weekend for worship so we are starting to sing christmas carols and yea its going to be a good one but we also we will be wearing toques and scarves for the last song which is "its beginning to look a lot like christmas" so yea we also will be tossing snow up in the air....may i make mention that it will be Fake snow! So yea its going to look like a little kids choir this weekend. Lol well whatever works i guess.....Hey its all about Jesus thats what were put on earth here for because its all about Jesus! No matter what the issue i can say "im here because Jesus wanted me here, he knew me before i even knew myself...lol well he put me on the earth for a cause and im here to fulfill my destiny to get the job done before the roll is called up yonder meaning when that day comes and i have to stand before God and he will be like "Chels did you get everything you needed done" So if thats not inspiration to you all out there of what we are suppose to be doing with our lives than i don't know what else is. This summer was my chance to "go into the world and make disciples" and i planted a seed and i know alot of you are thinking...chels why don't u stay in manitoba so you can keep doing that" my answer is simply said "Listen to me, for i know your heart" ~Jesus~ Have an awesome week everyone!
