Emily stands on the corner and looks up at the dull grey sky. The clouds are starting to build, though the actual storm hasn't hit, yet. But, based on the weather reports, it will.
It's not often that the threat of a hurricane is enough to close the parks, but this time, those in charge have decided to err on the side of caution. Plans have been put into motion for the Guests who are now effectively trapped in their resorts, from entertaining the children to making sure the food service areas have enough supplies.
For those Guests lucky enough to be staying at the campground and Caribbean Beach, they're still in the process of being transported to the nearby convention centers, where they will ride out the strongest part of the storms in less than comfortable accommodations.
Emily's radio beeps, bringing her back to the present, and she answers quickly, getting orders to do a final sweep of Frontierland, before heading down into the tunnels to verify the 'All Clear'.
She pauses for a moment, taking in another look at the empty park, and noting just how discomforting the Happiest Place on Earth is when there's no one there.
