TGUK fan
last nite there was a gathering at the epicentre. emo boys all across san diego come to pay homage to the one band. [THE GET UP KIDS]
i would like to say that i rocked out like at no other show...ever! they played all the great songs including my favorite, mass pike. they even played beer for breakfast! and i am proud to say, i was in the front and center, took me some time to get there but wow! i saw their shoes! and it was wonderful and so wonderful. i was squished so badly and all sweaty but it was so wonderful. i could stand on my tippy toes and not worry about falling cause i would be pressed upon from all directions. they played mostly from their new album, and from 'things to write home about' and only 1! song from 'on a wire'. still they rocked! actually surprised i didnt see more people that i knew there. no one listened to me in january when i said, "go buy your ticket now!" i purchased a jacket from them which i shall proudly wear forever. and if you have not seen the guk live, i highly reccomend it, there is just some sweetness you cant get from just listening to a cd.
