(no subject)
so this week i have been mostly listening to do make say think (winter hymn...) and the kinks (village green..). do make say think, i believe, are probably the best "postrock" band, more subdued than most but that makes it even better. i am also a sucker for bands with 2 drummers. the kinks remind me of turner landscapes and gilbert&sullivan.
when i was inebriated i bought a set of lockpicks and i have been trying to pick this lock which is closing some secret door in my room. it's quite frustrating as the last 3 pins don't seem to want to set and i don't know what's wrong. i am on my way to becoming an art theif, slowly but surely
tonight, there is a great double feature playing at the cinema. a documentary on henri langlois, and a bresson film (pickpocket). i am excited.
i've been trying to write but since i have mostly just been reading georges bataille, everything i write is horrible. he's climbing the ladder up to becoming one of my favorites.
my classes are dull because they go to slow and i am actually about reading to complain that we don't get assigned hard enough work. i don't feel like i'm learning anything if i can write off all my homework in an hour. that's what was so good about physics, it was hard as hell. i like that.
