Inspired by stultiloquentia's post, I thought this might be a good time to say a few things about who I am and let anyone who wants to ask questions. Not that questions aren't welcome at any time! I'm not currently leaving LJ for Dreamwidth, and this is going up in both places

Real fast before work, I can't believe you'd seen Wet Hot American Summer and like it. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one.

Oh my goodness, that movie is like, tops with my circle. I have never laughed harder, or during more multiple viewings.

We actually got to see it at a midnight show here a few months ago. Best ever.

Totally legitimate question.

My answer is that while I do not like hunting, and would not participate in it because I do not believe in killing things, I feel that is a choice people make and that in actively seeking that activity they are at least aware of the consequences of their actions in a way people buying nicely-cut steak in their supermarket are not necessarily. (I don't want to make assumptions about all people buying meat in supermarkets, because it's possible to be aware of where your meat came from and be okay with that.) If you (or anyone) are willing to go out and personally take responsibility for that life, then I have a lot less trouble with that

It's interesting that I know all this about you and yet was still very fascinated reading this. I like when people I like talk about themselves.
