On Friday night, as no doubt you all know, Stephenie Meyer's latest/last book in the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn, was released at midnight parties around the country. tkp and I attended the one at the University Bookstore at the UW

I live in Utah, m'dear. We breed Meyer fanatics, so I've been knee-deep in sparkly-vampire hysteria for the past month or so. It's enough to drive a gal insane.

When the entire back window of someone's car at church is covered in the apple graphic from the first novel, you know that someone's spiked the water supply with vampire!crazed hallucinogens. You can't go to a party or social event without someone tipping back their glass of slushy Sprite and exclaiming, "OMG! Have you read the vampire novels from Stephanie Meyers? I just can't put them down! Squee Gasp LOLz!!1
