Film review: Inland Empire (2006)

Writing a review of any new David Lynch film is a dodgy prospect, almost as disturbing to contemplate as the film is to watch. In the case of Inland Empire, the task is especially daunting. i have been waiting for this movie forever it feels.

so far it isnt opening anywhere remotely close to where i live. i think i might have to trek out of state to see it. closest will be cleveland i think and i dont even believe its opened there yet.... bleh.

Yeah, that's (secretly) one of the reasons I live in a place like Seattle. Lynch is distributing it himself, so I'm sure that's part of the problem. As in, he hasn't got a network of distribution all set up.

I hope you get a chance to see it!

oh no one is going to stop me, believe me. not even david lynch himself lol.

it would just be nice not to have to drive 300 miles to do so.

im a little surprised it hasnt reached toronto yet.

Huh. I can't find anyplace near you on the website, which sucks. The DVD's out in June, supposedly. But it'd be nice to see it in the theater, even if it *looks* like crap.
