Today was the worst day at camp!

Who knew the great Ro could be undone by 5 and 6 year olds! But yes, they unwound La Ro after two basketballs errantly went at her head in the span of 10 minutes and a day full of kids not listening.

My Leader in Trainig, the older campers who are given to us as slaves, seemed concerned when I covered my face with my hands and was unresponsive. The Campo Director came by, and wanted to know if there was "something we should talk about ..."

I think I said something like "I'm sure they'll be good people when they get older, or even when they become adults *incomprehensible repressed babblings* Wah."

"The group's not working out?"

"No. I asked not to be put in with the youngest groups."

I get told that she'll try and work something out, but there's no one she can add me right now.

So I go back up to the jungle gym area with the kids, where my co-counslor had gone, and just push the kids on the swings. The arts and crafts teacher then calls me over, saying I'm wanted in the office.

The meeting turns out to be with the Director and her boss. they pretty much tell me that those lil'uns are harder to understand and just keep myt chin up and lala la go back on words. I included the fact I don't like to be touched, so when I get jumped on by a 30 pound back mooch, I get very upset.

Which I pointed out that at the interview, I wouldn't be working with small kids, Director said that "We also said a degree of flexibility was needed."

Yeah, my flexibility was working with 8-10 year olds, rather than just 13-15 years of age. Fuck this. Only 18 more days! Or less, if I can find a job somewhere!
